摘要內容
The unsteady motion of gravity-driven flows like landslides causes a lot of casualties when it occurs. The aim of our experiment is to characterize granular flow in a lab-scale setup. Then we add the retaining wall, and by comparing final overflow length(L-), final height(H-), and percentage of particles passing through the retaining wall with original setup, we can know how much the retaining wall works and its effect of reducing casualties when granular flow occurs.
