摘要內容
This study quantitatively investigates the dependence of sound speed on air temperature within a controlled air column. A pair of Arduino-based ultrasonic transducers (HC-SR04) was used to measure the time-of-flight (ToF) of 40 kHz acoustic pulses under various thermal conditions. The temperature was precisely monitored using MLX90614 infrared sensors, while a temperature-controlled aluminum foil chamber ensured uniform heating and minimized heat loss. Calibration was performed with an ADALM2000 oscilloscope and function generator to accurately determine the propagation time of acoustic signals.
Experimental results show a clear linear relationship between sound speed and temperature, consistent with the theoretical model
